Ecological Economics

Shift to a mixed service and industrial development especially in rural development areas characterize by production & consumption processes using circular economy towards zero waste and minimization of all forms of pollution. This will also provide sufficient support to MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) to generate green jobs & enterprises to support our shift to green industries & services while supporting alternative forms of values exchange (such as green barter trading, local green currency systems, etc.).

All these promoting the green values of sharing & non accumulation as against unbridled consumerism & over consumption in creating sustainable wealth for all.

Also part of this is the reintegration of BPO (business process outsourcing) and export processing workers into services supporting local green industries and enterprises under humane working conditions w/ the gradual introduction of universal basic income for all.

We NEED actions towards Ecological Solid Waste Management & Pollution Control by fully implementing all waste management and pollution related laws within 3 years with failing local executives and other government regulatory offices to be suspended, recalled and replaced for failure to implement these laws.

This will include failure to stop importation, sale & distribution of toxic items in households, industrial and agricultural products.

Also as part of this agenda, pass a national legislation for the phase out of importation, manufacture, sale and use of singe use plastics in packaging of food & consumer products.
